As we carry on with our…..

As we carry on with our daily lives, let us not forget to help one another, be there for one another and to help express courage and strength. It’s with our compassion that we can make the world, our home, a better place.

Remember, the simple gesture of a smile can literally brighten someone’s day. And laughter can magnify by volumes the multitude of positive vibes needed to make life all the more worth while.

I hope you all have a blessed Easter weekend, everyone! ~ Love & Light 💕

To wake up each morning knowing that the Creator of the universe loves you

The greatest thing in life is
to wake up each morning
knowing that the Creator of the universe loves me.

As one writer put it
‘He loves me as I am, not as I should be,
but He loves me too much to leave me as I am’.

The Lone Wolf

A heavy silence filled the receiving room. A lone wolf looked like it was patiently waiting for its master. But if you will look close enough the wolf looked dejected staying on the spot where the master used to lounge. It finally dawned on the lone wolf that the master was never coming home.

‘ Things people know about being late ‘

#AceFriendsNews – June.11: I was never one of these people but l was always rushing to be early or not be late! How about you friends and readers, were you like this article suggests or do you have a different view?

These are 14 things all people who are chronically late know to be true

White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland gif

The world is split into two types of people – those who live by the clock (the boring ones) and those of us who are always, chronically late (the cool kids, obvs).

Being late is not something people tend to have a lot of sympathy for, but as tardy types have been saying for years, it’s not our fault.

And now, thanks to some very clever people at New York University, we finally have proof that we simply can’t help being late. Yes, apparently some people are just ‘born to be late’, and have a personality type that means they find it hard to be punctual.

If that’s YOU, here are 14 things you’ll know to be true…

1. You never (well, rarely) actually mean to be late.

2. The more you try to hurry, the longer you take.

3. Once in a blue moon you’re on time and it feels really great.

FLUID OF THOUGHT SAYS: ‘ A GIFT OF TIME ‘

#AceFriendsNews – Featured Post:Jan.06: The most precious thing I have at the moment is time. I gave my mother a 24 hour time voucher for Christmas which she used on Sunday and yesterday ( Monday).

The choice was hers as to how she would use the time. She opted for a day trip to the Gold Coast. She relinquished her licence about 15 years ago which has taken away her freedom to travel.

Her time started on Sunday when I picked her up and took her out to lunch. We walked around the Redcliffe markets then went back to my place for pizza and a sleep-over. We were up early Monday morning and drove off to the GC for breakfast and a stroll around Surfers Paradise.

We went down to Coolangatta to walk in the surf and take some pictures.

Surfer Girl 2

Leaving Tweed Heads, we drove the scenic route home, stopping off along the way for lunch. We followed the tweed river from Tweed Heads through Bilambil, Tumbulgum to state route 40. We travelled through Murwillumbah to Chillingham, crossing back into Queensland and driving through the Numinbah Valley. Keeping on State Route 97 (Nerang Murwillumbah Road)  will bring you passed the Hinze Dam and onto the M1 via State route 90 at Nerang

TRIBUTE: ‘ Indahs Travel Story Christmas Tree in the Tropical Sea ‘

Fifth edition of Marine Life monthly post. Since it is almost Christmas, why not introducing a unique looking worm called Christmas Tree. It is a worm but it will not eat your Christmas tree 😉

Christmas Tree WormChristmas Tree worm (spirobranchus giganteus) is a tube-building worm that lives in the stony coral. They have beautiful crowns that shaped like Christmas tree with bright color feather tentacles (radioles). These worms are regularly seen in tropical sea water like in the Caribbean and Indo-Pacific. They are very sensitive to movement and lights. They react very fast by retracting their radioles inside their tubes. For this reason I have not been able to capture their pictures perfectly with their top to make them look like Christmas Trees.

Christmas Tree WormThe tube of the worm is lined with appendages that aid the worm in mobility. The worm does not move outside its tube and the appendages do not help the worm to swim. Sincerely I have never seen the worm outside of the coral, so I have no clue about its appendages appearance. The worm itself is very small with average length of 3.8 cm.  But it is easy to spot because of its colorful radioles. Its radioles colors are varied from red, purple, yellow and blue. Very pretty! The radioles help the worm in filtering the water particles and plankton for food.

Christmas Tree Worm

The Christmas tree worms have two genders – female and male, and they reproduce by releasing sperm and eggs into the water. I think I managed to capture this moment on my image – just click the left picture to get it enlarged then you will see there were blue particles floating into the water. Not sure if these particles were eggs or sperms or hm..hm.. 😀

All pictures were taken in Raja Ampat, West Papua (Indonesia).

 Holidays Note

indah-susanti on travel

This picture was created by Yvette from Priorhouse using Photofunia. I love it, perfect for the holiday note! Thank you, Yvette!

Yup, I will be on travel to the Philippines and Singapore soon! I have been to these countries and I have several reasons why these countries are worth to revisit – future posts 😉

This post is my last post for year 2014. I will continue updating instagram and facebook page with travel photos. Please join or stalk my travels at instagram/indahs_photography andfacebook/indahstravelphotography. But I have to warn that most of the time I may forget the online world when having too much fun with the fishes and the marine critters.

Lastly….

For bloggers and readers who celebrate Christmas,

Merry Christmas!
May this Christmas be a delight for you and your loved ones

And for all bloggers and readers who have been following and visiting my blog,

Thank You so much! Happy New Year 2015!
