Celebration of a Hero’s Too Short Life

July 4, 2017 is an Independence Day we will never forget.  That is why I chose it.  All eleven of the the family were in Cambridge UK at the American Cemetery  to celebrate the life of my oldest brother George, a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division,  who jumped in the early hours of June 6, 1944. He  was  wounded at the battle for La Fiere Bridge in Normandy, and died on the ship back to England.  He was 20 years young.  I was not born until two years after his death.    As the last of my immediate family, I feel a responsibility to pass this story of our family’s hero to my children and their children.  I heard the other day that it takes 3 generations to forget history.  I am doing all I can to insure that my grandchildren will both  know and remember our history.

Part 2:
In The Beginning:
The “free world” wasn’t competing adequately in the realm of science. Suddenly there was an enormous sense of urgency that we had somehow fallen behind. On November third of that year, our scientific community was subjected to a further jolt. The Russians had launched a dog into space. From these two events the direction of my future was forged. A new compelling interest in science and research was to emerge and carry me with it. Or, put another way, the floodgates of scientific financing were opened to a wider range of talent.

NEW MOON…Leo the Lioness

Authentic Substance ! / Priorities .

How often do people check bank and credit Cards statement,

To see the things they spent their money on ?

How many people get their daily planner to find out,

On what they gave their time to ?

Are Morals ,transparency, sincerity part of their priorities?

Do they know how important is to have priorities, young and old?

Are people seduces by temporary pleasures and customized life style ?

Are we adoring our own images , interests and selfish desires ?

the many let times and opportunities pass them by .

Is it time to reevaluate oneself and one’s priorities ?

Wishing everyone great answer to every question.
