Hajime…. In direct opposition to how I feel, which is good, in a general sense, my muse seem to have deserted me. Add to that some rather unexpected, if not surprising, attacks from within by my resident demons, and it might be apparent why the intro sections of late have been sort of truncated, if not downright butchered to pieces by ruthless efficient trimming of the dross and drivel that usually shows up. This ruthlessness is not ony unaccustomed for me, it’s exhausting, for it is another attempt to fit a square peg into that damn round hole.

While the physical limitations to typing and writing are better, it remains difficult to maintain any stamina; a few minutes will put me into some relevant if not obtrusive pain, so I try to work in spurts. This is good for the hands and shoulders, but, not good for creativity, let me assure you. Ideas need a bit of peace at times, and this constant whirl from one activity level to another, all damn day, is getting old. But, then, so am I, and that ain’t gonna stop, so, I suppose I should stop complaining, and get on with today’s mess/effort/mass of contradictions. Why not? It’s free….

I’ve put together an extensive Pearl for today; I checked out a couple of the suggested related blogs suggested by the WP bots, that show at the end of each post, and found a couple good inclusions for today. There’s also a pretty good older poem of mine, and, of course, an old-school pearl to chew on at the end. To save my hands, and left shoulder, which is giving me fits today, let’s just get this over with no fuss. I can use one of my literary tricks, or break out an old technique from our dark ages. I think, today, we’ll just do this….

Shall we pearl?….

A few days ago, I included a video of this gentleman playing a rather excellent piece, while sitting on the street in his hometown in Poland. One of our Gentle Readers ferreted out his information, including his Facebook presence. Here then is another video of his play, which connects you to a page on You Tube with a number of his pieces of work. He is truly an amazing guitarist, and I hope his name, Martiusz Goli, becomes a household word, the world over…. Enjoy!…

We the People...

I’m in the mood to rant, but, not the ‘right’ mood. To rid myself of the emotional dross, while avoiding having to actually write, here is one last posted in April of 2013, written in 2012, prior to the last presidential election, which, though pretty lame, cannot approach the degree of lameness already shown in this election….

From 4/9/2013:

Here’s the deal…. I still don’t have a rant ready, but I feel like ranting…. so, I’ll sublimate…. This is an article that I posted on Triond, another web site where I’ve published some of my work, in the latter part of 2012, near the election that took place in November….. All of it is still pretty valid, discounting the date-related issues…. all the rest, I stand by…..

Absence of Honor: The Untimely Death of The US Constitution

“Ignorance can be compounded, made denser, until the light of our spirits is smothered.” — Deng Ming-Dao

As I read this pearl, my immediate thought was that it is a very clear, very accurate take on the 2012 election process that is currently unfolding before us in the daily news. The end of the political scale that is represented so raggedly by what is left of the Republican Party, and the mislabeled liberal end of the scale who claim to be Democrats, both of which are engaging in ongoing battles to see who can display the deepest ignorance.

The leading candidate for the “loyal opposition” to the party in power, Mr. Romney, seems to have a proclivity for alienating the very people from whom he is trying to win votes; women, immigrants and Hispanics, animal lovers, seniors, teachers and students, all have been told, in no uncertain terms, that they matter not at all to him. His plan? We’ll stop taxing the rich altogether, and that will fix everything…. Sometimes I wonder if he is getting all of his information on voter wants and issues of importance from old newspapers from the 1980’s, because he certainly hasn’t a clue as to what is happening out in America in this decade….

The other party, led by our first Black President, is busy hiding what the left hand is doing by distracting everyone with the tax and healthcare issues, to keep them unaware of how few of the Bill of Rights are left to us. “Executive Orders” signed by the POTUS this year, beginning on New Year’s Eve, while the voters were all busy celebrating the advent of the new year, include provisions that allow police to stop, search, and arrest any citizen of this country whom they suspect of any form of terrorism, or even of protest against the provisions of those orders.

These same police who are arresting their ostensible fellow-citizens are not required to tell ANYONE that they have arrested and imprisoned a citizen, nor are they ever required to provide any evidence of their suspicions in a court of law. Even though there may be no evidence, they can subject these CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY to torture to obtain a confession, or whatever it is they are after. There is no oversight to these orders; they don’t go before Congress to be approved, nor are they reviewed by the courts. Both of those particular checks on the power of the Executive Branch are completely out of the loop on this…. and they aren’t even complaining about it!

Does it physically hurt to be that stupid? — Smart Bee

My guess at the answer to this is, No. It can’t hurt very much to be that stupid, as we continue to go out each time there is an election and vote these same lying, cheating, avaricious assholes back into the same positions from which they have been oppressing the American people for oh, a hundred or so years now. I’d say that around the time of the Depression was when the first real strangle-hold on the national throat was first achieved…. the pure bullshit the government was spewing back then can be seen to have been the first real time that the government’s outrageous lies were swallowed whole by a reluctant public, who had nothing else to eat, and thus nothing else to risk…

“He was born stupid, and greatly increased his birthright.” — Samuel Butler

So, how does it feel? Does it physically hurt to be so stupid as to be part of the crowd that continues to buy into all the bullshit lies that our own government heaps upon us every day? To keep going to the polls, just as if it really matters who gets elected? Get real, folks. You will not find a name on the ballot that belongs to someone who is not a willing tool of the powers of oppression, the money-changers who are the power behind the scenes of every government in the world. Not going to happen; they’ve been the real power in the world for centuries, and they’re not about to give up all they have, just to be nice, or because they’ve all of a sudden grown a heart.

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting pretty fucking tired of being lied to, and cheated, and looked at as just another idiot for them to shit on….. and I’m not going to put up with it for much longer, without some kind of return fire….. believe it…. I don’t think I am alone in this, either…. No way to tell for sure, but I find it hard to believe that EVERYONE is falling for all of it…. but, even if I’m alone in this, I refuse to knuckle under any further, and can only say that I will do all I can to see things turn in a direction that will return my Rights, and those of the rest of the American people…. or at least those not stupid enough to hand them over without a fight….

“He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.” — Martin Luther King, Jr.

Blown across steppes of imagination, a spore
finds a niche, takes root,
tries to live longer than now, before
chaos/peace descends, and desire is moot.

Feathered into fecundity, another possibility
builds a nest, hatches kin,
aims at immortality, sans responsibility,
chance manifests, as it does, again.

Leading toward peril, entropy saves creativity,
making tools, and lazy time;
solid signs imply such simple nativity,
as another snitch drops his dime.

Subtle compassion billows, passion to unfold,
covering hearts bloodied by time,
burning flesh made valid, unwaveringly bold,
turning love to brilliant rhyme.

Years weigh lightly, supported by youth,
gaining weight with each year,
only the old men know the actual truth,
peace comes only when we lose our fear.

Skull N CandlesBLACK CANDLE MAGICK

Working with a Black Candle is very powerful it is one of the most protective colors you can use for your SpellWork

A Black Candle can be used to bring a Spirit back to Earth

Used in various ways to uncover secrets

Meditation

It will help you to find the light within the darkness

It stabalizes negativity

Awakens greater responsibility in your practice

A Black Candle can be lit to unleash havoc and chaos

And it is traditional to use and light Black Candles for each of the dead you remember during your Ritual at Halloween and Samhain

An Incense that is used to raise the Spirits is a blend of equal parts of

Aloe
Pepper
Musk
Vervain
Saffron

Mixed well together and burned with your symbolic words to connect you with the Spirit

Keep in mind when summoning the dead other souls may hear your call make sure you let those souls know they are not welcomed

Only the Spirit that you call by name may enter your Ritual area or Circle

Summoning a Spirit back to Earth from the dead of their realm may take some time and calling out many times with a few minutes break in between chantsgothic cross-1Be patient

It will also greatly help to have a few treasured items that belonged to the Spirit or favorite foods to entice the Spirit to come

Then the scent of flowers filled the air

A cool wind touched my face I knew the Spirit heard my calls and had arrived

As the candles flame twitched erratically I could sense the dead had entered the room

Once the Spirit you have summoned arrives take care of business talk about what you want

Be brief then say farewell and send the Spirit back

…be unafraid of shadows dark and to the sound of their rusty whispers…

Featured Image -- 53303At the edge I stood with the feel of the earth under my feet crumbling into stardust

Everyone around me terrified me all those who were nothing more that a mere 65% water

The night sky use to feel like home now as I look up its a distant dark emotion of mine that hides my innocence as well as my chaos

I tried to breath deeply to relieve myself of this choking that left me with some very strange thoughts in my way of thinking

I was down to my last 2%

My resistance was low the temptation of this elixir was a wild escape for me

And the Green Fairy that lives in this bottle of Absinthe wanted my soulFairy In The BottleI didn’t want to go over the edge I just wanted to see all the things I could not see while I was standing in the middle

She was the aphrodisiac of myself a heart made of distilled stars so pure that it sometimes got lost in itself a mind as salty as the sea that washed up on different shores in desparate need of adventure and my passion that for years I hid from those who truly taught me how to love and be loved

Was I lost or was I finally beginning to learn

Tiga Wisata Sejarah di Blitar

Tiga Wisata Sejarah di Blitar
// ceritaelsafatur

Penyambung Lidah Rakyat Indonesia.”

img_6982

Demikianlah tiga destinasi sejarah yang wajib kamu kunjungi jika sedang berada di Kota Blitar. Selamat berlibur!!!

Beggars Too Have Feelings.

Beggars Too Have Feelings.
// ednakimaniblog

image

Sometimes when i watch soup operas and reality shows,
I wonder what was it that they did and what was it i did,
People say and do things , they can be pretty hurtful,
Yet being a begger you have no words to spewk out.

Hope seems a farfetched word ,
Hopeless is her daily dose,
Yet cruelity and brutality of others keeps her groing,
Why so hurtful so misunderstood?
Do you think begging is a privilege?

Sometimes offer help and stop speaking,
Just offer help and walk away.

As a literary genius and master of wit, Oscar Wilde has fascinated the world since he first started writing. There is one area of his life, however, which remained in obscurity until the 1940s, and which continues to be a mystery: The horrifying death of his half-sisters.

The existence of Emily and Mary Wilde, the illegitimate daughters of Sir William Wilde, was kept hidden from…

Paper Birds

Paper Birds
// House of Heart

I have unfolded us like origami,

dissected our borders.

The shadowed corners of secrets

I have forced into the light to mourn

like the small bones of birds

somehow sacred.

I have renamed us where every memory

is not an ache beneath my ribs

and thoughts are not assaults on the dead.

I am the flush of peony,

the shades of healing scars.

the Park

the Park
// House of Heart

Part I

The man seemed out of place, standing by the water in a frayed sweater, well-worn shoes, an impressive attaché. I had noticed him there every day for the past week. Inexplicably, on this day I followed him, was actually close enough to reach out and touch his shoulder. He turned towards me and smiled, his eyes were deep set, the pupils wide portals that gathered the autumn colors, dilated pits of shadow even in the midday sun centered in glacial irises that softened when he smiled. Sepia outlines against the landscape we stood together watching a swan, graceful ballerina, glaze the water slowly leaving no sign of a wake. So intrigued by this fated figure I could not resist sitting beside him. He reached into the briefcase and offered me an apple, barely suppressing my smile at the irony, I took the apple though I was not hungry. I fought the temptation to arrange his unkempt hair and run my fingers over his unshaven cheek. I had the unsettling suspicion that he knew what I was thinking. We talked about how quickly summer had passed and the beauty of the fall leaves. Suddenly serious he confided that he came to the park to kill time, that he had lost his job and his lover had fallen to the irresistible lure of the black dog. As though I were listening in on a private conversation I felt overwhelmed, resisting the urge to take his hand. I sensed the danger and instinctively pulled away and unceremoniously stood up to leave. He asked me if I would return. With no intention to do so I told him I would come back.

Part II

Haunted by the unorthodox stranger and somehow sensing impending peril I was unable to sleep, finally giving into sleeping pills with a sip of water. Eventually falling into a state of suspended consciousness only to waken drenched from an erotic dream. I cursed softly and found my way to the bathroom in the dark to avoid disturbing his sound sleep. At dinner I considered telling him about the man, even going so far as to mention how inexplicably drawn I felt but refrained, bewildered at its significance; not wanting to explain it. In the bathroom I stood under the shower, letting the cool water spill softly over my face and down my throat, cupping my breasts, imagining his elegant hands upon my body. Back in bed, I closed her eyes tasting the salty tears that slid from them. Drifting off I promised myself I would forget about the encounter at the park, never go back there.

Part 111

From the window that overlooked the rolling slopes across the way, I saw him, his hair tousled in the breeze. I tried to look away but was compelled to observe his every move outlined against the grass, the long stride along the path leading to the lake, I settled my view on his silhouette and the glow of sun on his tanned face. Tossing my sweater across my shoulders I hurried along the path toward him. His eyes lit when he caught sight of me, gleaming as brightly as the clear blue sky. We sat on the bench beneath the large birch tree that came alive with bird song. We were destined, surely as the sea meets the shore and my subconscious began to vibrate for him and that for a smear of time kept him sane and grounded, love’s tender sentiment. Retrospectively I knew exactly when he began to slip away and there was no way to stop it.

Since our death I haven’t been the same. Washing pills with cognac, my world a void of absence. He is at a loss, doing all he can to bring me back, feeling I may dissipate like card ice. I have fallen out of love but haven’t the heart to tell him. How angry he would be if he knew of the man in the park, of the very marrow of life that we shared without shame. I must be ashamed, my face feels hot whenever I think of him and when I allow myself to wake, I am a whirl wind of wild emotion sinking back into drug induced amnesia where my shell remains a possession of suffering.

Part IV

The earth is stripped of its color. Where is the sun that burned liked fire? The park is blanketed with ice, brittle branches offer bleak shelter to the silent birds, their wings pulled sharply against their skeletons. A woman tugs her coat against the wind, its rough threads guarding a lifeless heart. Her eyes are dead things, no longer vibrant, reflecting the grey clouds. She is caught in the shadow of the park where a sparrow falls lifeless to the snow. She is lost, unable to find her way among the snow banks. Somehow she welcomes the sorrow, the pain that reminds her she is still alive.

// bell@espíritu

New Existence ! / A Dream

My dream is to see the end of ,
Inequality,injustice and partiality.

the Many are nowadays blindly advocating.

The many are unconditionally embracing.

My dream is to see a new existence of , Roses, lilies , gardenias and carnations.

Where love reigns the hearts and souls.

Meadows of kindness, fields of compassion.

Paths of equality justice for all people, Regardless of their wealth stature or poverty.

Magical rivers to water everyone with tolerance .
