These are a 12″ x 16″ oil on canvas boards, painted in 1976 and they are called Mallards in the Wild. The two paintings go together and reveal the kind of country view where our family lived for many years. For compositions sake, one is suppose to do odd numbers. The convention doesn’t like twos, but I do. Being a bit of a rebel – here are TWO ducks, male and female.
