I am awakened from diaphanous dreams

by the strain of a moonlight sonata.

From the window the heavens are

filled with pin-point diamonds that

glitter from dew drops sprinkled

across velvet fields of deep blue grasses.

Slipping through the sheers of windows

my bare feet rush through clusters

of allegories, magical myths, and

majestic collages that I have wandered

since childhood.
