First Night Design

Arriving in London in 1935, the Viennese photographer Wolfgang Suschitzky is best known for his depictions of London in the 1930s and 1940s. However a photography career spanning 70 years has seen him capture many subjects, all with the same genuine affection…

I Gave You Everything

Another winner from the writer with a great ❤️ Who gives so much to others and deserves and asks for nothing in return …To Andrew .. Ian 🌟

The Lonely Author

Red maple leaf lays on dark asphalt road. Macro photo

Following so many blogs, I keep coming across the same message; people dealing with loss.  It is difficult to give and give while a partner takes and takes. You eventually reach the point where you become a hollowed soul with nothing left to give.

I dedicate this to all of you who gave and gave…

I Gave You Everything

We had a pretty garden
a flower bed made of love
I gave you everything
‘til there was nothing left of me
then you said it was over
you took your love away
you took everything
the laughter and smiles
the moments we were one
you left me completely hollow
‘til the lovely flowers died
now there’s nothing left to bloom
the garden has infertile soil
where nothing can be sown
cause the only thing that grows
when you take away from it
is a hole

Space

Just love your posts and never ending to apologise for being you with your Gran but parents just expect it .. Nice Ian 👌

All about Grandmother 🙂

Well, Who doesn’t?

But with Grandma, you never really want your space. I grew up being with her, couldn’t stay with my mum. Even if my mum showed me every pretty thing in the world I so long waited to make my parents get me, I wouldn’t trade in for my Grandma’s love.

It seems I rather wanted to stay with my Grandma than go away with my mum. A little sad thing for my mum but that’s how I was as a kid.

Love you forever Grandma 🙂

Las crónicas del Otro Mundo

naturaleza muerta
