They say curiosity killed the cat but the reason why cats are curious is because they want to know what’s going on that is why God gave them none lives – so what does that say for me. 🐱 Meow
PS added a post about moons earlier would appreciate your professional opinion when you have Jinx x 💕
Interesting news and views on these events gratefully received by me or my friend and colleague Shauny
Nice post Kristin 👌
I had planned to attend some of the activities over the weekend but being the end of the month, I was drowning in paperwork and spent the weekend at my desk instead.
I did manage to take a quick break and snap some of the Aerobatic Display from my balcony.
I was having trouble reconciling the accounts. My head was full of numbers (and perhaps some Bundy rum consumed the night before). Sometimes the numbers fall into place and I reconcile the accounts first go. Other times (like today) an account just wont balance out and for the life of me I can’t work out what’s gone wrong. It’s times like this it’s best to walk away, take a break and come back with a clear head. So I played around with Photoshop for 20 minutes and came up with this creation.

It was fabulous as is your post but we had a mist in the UK around the corona nice post Jinx xoxo
The electricians on our crew must have heard Gary Wehunt say the phrase “…of a morning” a dozen times before someone brought it to his attention. I think it was Andy Tubbs while we were sitting in our Monday Morning Safety Meeting. He said, “What did you just say?” Gary repeated himself, “I do ‘such and such’ of a morning.” “Of a morning? What does that mean?” Gary asked, “What? Of a Morning. Isn’t that right?”
It’s true that there is a certain “Power Plant Speak” that seems unique to people that work in factories, power plants, line crews and other such situations. I can speak only for the power plants where I worked. I would describe the type of speech as “colorful”. Not in a vulgar sort of way, but in a flowery way.
Power Plant Men in general didn’t curse as you may see them depicted in movies…

Gorgeous explanation for friends Semra posted on your magazine as well Ian 🌹
I looked at all friends, and did not find a better friend than safeguarding the tongue.
I thought about all the dresses but did not find a better dress than piety.
I thought about all kinds of wealth, but did not find a better wealth than contentment in a little.
I thought of all sorts of good deeds but did not find a better deed than offering good advice.
I looked at all types of sustenance, but did not find a better sustenance than patience.
Her çeşit yemeği gördüm, tattım, sabırdan lezzetlisini görmedim.
Bütün iyilikleri gördüm, nasihatten iyisini görmedim.
Umar ibn al-Khattab
Your friends are three and your enemies are three. Your friends are: your friend, the friend of your friend, and the enemy of your enemy. Your enemies are: your enemy, the enemy of your friend, and the friend of your enemy.
Dostların da düşmanların da üç grubtur: Dostların ;Dostun ,Dostunun dostu, Düşmanının düşmanıdır. Düşmanların: Düşmanın, Dostunun düşmanı, Düşmanının dostudur.
― Hazrat Ali Ibn Abu-Talib
A brother is like gold and a friend is like diamond. If gold cracks you can melt it and make it just like it was before. If a diamond cracks, it can never be like it was before.”
Bir kardeş altın,bir dost ise elmas gibidir. Altın kırılırsa yeniden eritir, eski haline çevirirsin. Fakat elmas kırıldımı hiç bir zaman eski haline dönmez.
