These are a 12″ x 16″ oil on canvas boards, painted in 1976 and they are called Mallards in the Wild. The two paintings go together and reveal the kind of country view where our family lived for many years. For compositions sake, one is suppose to do odd numbers. The convention doesn’t like twos but I do. Being a bit of a rebel – here are TWO ducks.
The feeder has been out there for a month stuffed with thistle seed to attract the finches but there has not been a sign of interest from any bird ~ until yesterday. A goldfinch, in the middle of cold rain ! and today in a tiny piece of sun he brought a friend along….

Nice post added here as well http://flip.it/UsX9P
I sat near the window watching how the rain spattered against the glass, while taking sips from my hot milk tea and suddenly a thought struck me hard. OMG, its 2015 and its half gone despite many upheavals that continue to shake my life up.
Problems and Pakistanis go hand in hand and most of us are the living proof of it but being Pakistani means much more then that. Just recently someone very important in my life asked me “What does Pakistan mean to you?” which was followed by “Why do you love Pakistan?.”
So this is my answer and this is what Pakistan means to me.
- Pakistan is where I can hike into the Margalla Hill, Islamabad only to fall in love with the most adorable little kittens playing without a care in the world. Munna thank you for capturing that moment in time.
- Pakistan is the land of…

Just Stopped By…
I just stopped by, while passing through this old world on my way to glory. I am just a sojourner traveling through this old world, headed to a new place, a kingdom, which we really cannot conceive of its wonder. True, I am for a while, a citizen of this once great nation; and great it can be again, if we invite the right leadership to influence our ways.
Unfortunately, most of the leadership at this point is under a strong delusion, an evil delusion, and although two powers have different means to get where they are going, where they are going is the same. That same end that falls under an even stronger, more evil delusion and one that will bring devastation to our nation as a free republic one nation under God.

Now feel the Moon soak up its Energy and just know that your Wish will come true

In time your Wish will be granted
Welcome to the seventh edition of the Featured Photographer monthly post. Please meet Leo Moreno a Florida (USA) based scuba diver. I have been following his instagram and amazed by his underwater photography. Let’s get inspired by his photography works that mostly captured in Florida and Caribbean.
I was surprise when find out that Leo has been diving for only two years. His images are professional looking that I had an assumption he might have been diving for tens of years! Leo is regularly diving in a famous dive site as one of the best dive site in the world by Sport Diver: Blue Heron Bridge (Florida). More about Leo and his photography, please read the following interview and don’t miss to read how he got his camera as I might do the same, or wouldn’t you? 😉

Monkey and his human friend. I took this image in Santa Maria beach, Sal Island, Cape Verde.
I found a youtube movie of a playful monkey in Sal Island with a dog while their human friend was busy working. It looks like it’s common to own a monkey as pet in Sal Island. Monkeys in Cape Verde are not native to the islands, they were introduced from the African continent.
