The First Eleven were facing another defeat when North Mymms were 250-3 chasing 258-9. Then, according to the scorecard, Dan Ter Braak took a wicket and Will Ray had an amazing last over taking 3-5 as Mymms fell one run short. The win lifts the ones of the bottom of the table.
The Second Eleven rewrote the record book with their highest score of 382-7 (the best score of the day in the league). A ton from Will Bancroft paved the way and with about 200-2 off the first 25 overs the game was over – Hatfield Hyde were bowled out for 163.
