NC man accused of shooting wife reportedly pointed gun at baby


PITT COUNTY, N.C. — A Pitt County man accused of shooting his wife in the stomach is now facing more attempted murder charges after investigators say the suspect also pointed a gun at his wife’s baby, according to WCTI.

Deputies say Harve Franklin Mabe Jr., 32, fired a shotgun into the stomach of his 23-year-old wife on Tuesday at the couple’s home near Greenville.

Mabe is charged with first degree attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and assault on a female.

After an investigating, authorities discovered Mabe pointed the gun at his wife’s infant son while threatening both of them.

It was reported that Mabe then called 911 and claimed his wife was the victim of a drive-by shooting.

Mabe has been additionally charged with two more counts of attempted murder, as well as one count of possession of a weapon of mass…

If the Balinese do not know much English,  expect them to know the phrase ‘oh yeah’. As much as it sounds’ Umm well not so important’, you feel happy enough to know that they understand you.

I would like to learn and educate myself about the Balinese culture and most importantly it’s history not precisely from a Xerox of information compiled online or books but I would like to hear them from the locals who abide by the tradition everyday. Bahasa is the language spoken in Indonesia, also Kawi spoken in some parts. Not many here speak English and so my thrive to understand the local life is quite minimal.

There ‘s a spiritual feel in the Balinese land as you wake up every morning apart from the roosters crocking their lungs out. The women folks religiously begin their day with prayers at their homes,  some in their local shops…

Fatal vehcile fire closes I-64 eastbound at Battlefield Bouleveard

Chesapeake, Virginia – A person was killed in a vehicle fire around 4:15am on I-64 eastbound at Battlefield Boulevard.

State Police say the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck the bridge causing the vehicle to catch fire.

The driver was the only person inside the vehicle.

The outside set of lanes are currently blocked as well as the two inside right lanes.

The on ramp from Battlefield Boulevard northbound and the second exit ramp are closed.

The two lanes towards the High Rise Bridge are open.

The exit towards Military Highway remains open as well.

Take Greenbrier Parkway, 168, 464 as alternate routes.
